These are the happenings of the year that we do as a local pack with all the dens included. Dens also meet individually depending on the achievement they are working on. For more happenings in the area available for Scouts, check the District Calendar.
We’ll have our first couple of meetings outdoors, at Brady’s Run park.
Pack 499 is hosting the flag ceremony to kick off the party! We will be setting up a LEGO Pinewood Derby Track for community engagement and circling the park for the relay. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends and support cancer survivors.

Bring your gloves to help set up the pumpkin patch! Scouts help unload the farmers pumpkin truck and distribute the pumpkins across the football field. Afterwards we check to see if anyone else could use any extra hands. Feel free to stay or stop by later for the festivities.
Annual Fall Festival
Saturday, September 20, 2025, from
12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Hardy Field
This family-friendly event is free to attend and features fun for all ages, including:
Hanging bird feeders and lights in the courtyard for the residents.
No planned activities, but come out to Raccoon Creek State Park Beach. It will be a great time to relax and play in the sand. You do not need to be there the whole time, but if you are able to make it it will be great fun to share some relaxation at the beach.
Get ready to blaze new trail and uncover the thrill of Pioneer Days at Cub Scout Day Camp! From building frontier skills to tackling exciting challenges, Scouts will step into the boots of daring poineers and make history come alive.
To give everyone some flexibility, enjoy a round of mini golf anytime the first week of August. You can go as a family, or meet up with other Scouts.
Send your Scouts score to scoutspack499@gmail.com so we can crown our champion golfer of the year!
